One of the practical spiritual disciplines that we teach people in GrowthWorks is the importance of having a daily quiet time with God. Not just a Bible reading time, or praying through a list of prayer requests, but rather, a very personal, relational time with God in his Word that sets the stage for a day that is not simply a schedule, but a walk with the Lord.

Coinciding with the launch of GrowthWorks, Ambassadors for Christ is also launching a new daily devotional simply called "Time With God". Where many devotionals are short Bible studies with an application at the end, or even simply motivational stories or illustrations, our goal in Time With God is to take people into the Word each day and help them connect with God on the personal level. We want to help people's time with God to become interactive and responsive to Him.

We are planning to put out an issue of Time With God that is linked very closely to GrowthWorks. Each day's reading will build on the theme taught in GrowthWorks that week.
