Use GrowthWorks for Church-Wide Impact!

GrowthWorks has had a major impact on the churches that have used it. Consider using GrowthWorks in a way that deeply impacts the spiritual life of your whole church.

Many churches have seen significant spiritual growth in recent days by using 40 Days of Purpose, or another similar tool. GrowthWorks can be used in a similar way, and is being used by a number of churches as a followup to 40 Days, the following year.

GrowthWorks is built around a diagram of the Christian life, represented by a healthy, growing, fruitful tree. The fruit on the tree represents the fruit of the Spirit. The GrowthWorks course describes the process involved in having that fruit be the natural outflow of your life.

We suggest that your pastor preach a Sunday series on the Fruit of the Spirit at the same time as your small groups all do GrowthWorks. There are nine fruit of the Spirit listed in Scripture. To use GrowthWorks for church-wide impact, we suggest showing the DVD of the first GrowthWorks talk in church on Week 1.

Then the pastor preaches the series on the Fruit of the Spirit for the next nine weeks, and the home groups use GrowthWorks during the week. You can use the Promo Video on the DVD, to get your people excited about this.

We plan to post sermon notes and outlines for this preaching series on the Fruit of the Spirit. Please check back as time goes by and this site becomes more mature.
